SGM UPDATE: Following the meeting we had 11th August, Vestry has agreed to accept the recommendations of the Diocesan Council. The Council will meet at the end of August and then set a date for closure of Christ Church Whangarei.
(Please note that during the time of closure all worship services and any groups under the name of Christ Church, Whangarei, will be suspended.)
However, the church office will remain open. The Reverends, Margot + Bruce will be available for pastoral care and funerals; weddings and any public events will still occur.
DURING THE SUSPENSION OF SERVICES: You are welcome to attend services at Maunu, Onerahi & Whangarei Mihingare Pastorate in Kamo all starting at 9.30am. You could form small groups to meet & watch a service online or Shine TV.

It has been suggested that we set up a phone contact list similar to the one setup during covid lockdown, simply to check in on one another for support and encouragement. If anyone is prepared to set this up, let Rev Margot Postlewaight know.
