Whangarei Anglican provides facilities for short term and long term hire.

CHRIST CHURCH

The Whangarei Anglican Church can accommodate up to 400 people.
General Use, including Narthex (Foyer) - $200 for 2hours
Concert/Wedding - $600 for 5 hours
Funeral - $200 for 2 hours
Narthex (Foyer) hire only - $100 for 2 hours
Officiating Priest - $250 flat fee
Pianist - $150 flat fee
Orgainst - $300 flat fee
Sound System Hire - $175 flat fee
Piano Hire - $175 flat fee

The Parish Hall can accommodate up to 150 people.
Seating and tables are available along with toilets and a fully equipped kitchen with plates, cutlery, cups and glasses.
Parish Hall/Lounge - $60 for 2 hours
Kitchen - $30 flat fee
Funerals - $175 flat fee

FACILITIES TERMS & CONDITIONS
GENERAL
The church reserves the right to refuse any event that is contrary to church ethos.
No bookings are available from December 24-January 6.
If this is a public event please attach a copy of advertising to be used.
You must only use the area(s) of the venue that have been booked and confirmed.
DATE AND TIME
We require that all evening functions finish no later than 9.30pm, with pack-out to be completed by 10.00pm. Alarms are automatically activated at 10.00pm.
Rates quoted include GST.
SETTING UP AND PACKING OUT
Furniture may be moved and/or removed with permission only.
Any furniture moved must be replaced where it was originally found.
All decorations and Sellotape or Blu-tack must be removed after the event.
All food and rubbish is to be taken away. Please check fridges.
All dishes to be washed, dried and put away.
Rooms used are to be vacuumed after use. The Church vacuum is located in the flower room, to the left of the altar.
The Hall vacuum is in the cleaning cupboard to the left of the Hall Lounge
All damage to be reported to the parish office as soon as possible. You are responsible for any damage incurred by anyone associated with your event including staff, guests and contractors. Should any damage occur, you will be liable for any associated costs.
PARKING
Parking for all venues is available at 2B Kamo Road, Regent
There is provision for parking for differently abled persons at Whangarei Anglican, accessed from the driveways
POWER
There are power outlets available throughout the church & hall. You may need to provide a generator should the equipment you are using place heavy demands on our power supply.
MUSIC AND SOUND
Whangarei Anglican Church has a sound system, projector and screen available for use. If you wish to use these, please ask at the office at the time of booking. An additional fee of $175.00 will be incurred for their use.
You are also welcome to bring your own PA system.
You are responsible for any damage incurred by anyone associated with your event including staff, guests and contractors. Should any damage occur, you will be liable for any associated costs.
HEALTH & SAFETY
a. I/We are aware of my/our obligations and duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
b. Any sub-contractors used have written rules and procedures in place relating to health and safety of their employees and all persons associated with the event.
c. I/We will take all practicable steps to eliminate, isolate, minimise hazards as well as hazards identified to me/us.
d. I/We will maintain a register of accidents and notify Whangarei Anglican Church of any accidents that occur.
