Worship Services
Sunday, 9:30am
The primary worship service at Whangarei Anglican is held on Sunday morning at 9am. This worship is a Eucharist, also known as Communion. It includes the blessing and receiving of bread and wine in remembrance of Christ. We sing, we pray, we hear the scriptures read and explore their meaning together. You are welcome to join us as we gather to thank God every Sunday.

Evensong
The worship of God in the evening have long been a part of Christian worship, especially among the religious orders and clergy. The service of Evensong, drawn from the Book of Common Prayer, is a much loved celebration of both God and the English Church tradition. Its words, anthems, prayers and essence are truly a gift to all who gather to sing it. Evensong is held quarterly at 5pm on a Sunday evening. Please contact the office for the next date.
